Sponsor: Ivy Tech Community College

Ivy Tech Community College is a new sponsor for Makevention, and we are so thankful for their donation. At their exhibitor booth, Ivy Tech will be showing off examples of their community outreach and STEM activities and have information about Ivy Tech’s new campus makerspace. There may also be a Switchboard kiosk somewhere at Makevention. Make sure to ask about it at the Ivy Tech booth.

Sponsors: IU Pervasive Technology Institute

Makevention is grateful to be sponsored by the Pervasive Technology Institute of Indiana University. PTI works on the cutting edge of Big Iron and Big Data computing and is committed to education, outreach and training. They hold several summer camps introducing junior and high school kids to STEM, and they support activities like Makevention that provide making activities to all ages. We appreciate the support from one of the coolest departments on the IU campus.

Sponsors: Pinnacle Learning Center

For the third year, the Pinnacle Learning Center is generously sponsoring Makevention. The Pinnacle School is a private school providing a maker-based learning curricula along with specialized dyslexia training to the Monroe County School District. They understand the benefit of hands-on, project-based learning and support the maker movement in Bloomington whole heartedly. Bloominglabs is proud to be a program partner with Pinnacle, and we’re looking forward to see what Pinnacle will demonstrate at their booth at Makevention. Make sure to stop by and give them a “Thanks!” for supporting Makevention.
