We absolutely love watching In Case of Emergency Press screen print t-shirts. If you want a Makevention t-shirt, they’ll make you one on site! FOOLS

Spanning multiple locations in Bloomington Indiana, Artisan Alley is an art co-op that provides a wide range of work studios, co-work spaces, classes, equipment, tools, essential amenities and volunteer opportunities for community members interested in the arts. The Jerry Slocum Mechanical Puzzle Collection from The Lilly Library, Indiana University
This exhibit is always a hit, because people love puzzles. The Jerry Slocum Mechanical Puzzle Collection from The Lilly Library, Indiana University will be at Makevention again.
The Jerry Slocum Collection of Mechanical Puzzles embodies a lifetime pursuit of the intriguing and the perplexing. The result is the largest assemblage of its kind in the world, with over 35,000 puzzles. The mechanical puzzles in the collection range from Victorian era amusements to modern innovative designs made with laser cutters and 3D printing. Learn about the different types of mechanical puzzles and the challenges each pose.
Puzzles from their hands-on collection will be at the booth for attendees to solve. Hear from the Lilly Library’s Curator of Puzzles about how puzzle designers develop their deviously difficult creations, and maybe find a new idea for your next project!
